What the agency published
The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, on behalf of the Construction and Property Management Department, Construction Services Division, is seeking the services of a qualified and licensed Construction Manager at Risk to provide construction services for an approximately 8,000‑square‑foot addition to the existing East Lake Community Library building. The project includes: Ground Floor Addition: Approximately 3,650 square feet added to the east end of the existing building. Second Floor Addition: Approximately 4,350 square feet constructed above the new ground floor addition and over a portion of the existing structure (the original addition completed in 2017). The selected General Contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, coordination, scheduling, subcontractor management, and construction activities necessary to complete the addition in accordance with the County’s plans, specifications, and applicable codes. This project involves an expansion of the existing East Lake Community Library, located at 4125 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor, Florida 34685.
