What the agency published

Pinellas County (the 'County') invites qualified consulting firms to submit proposals to develop a comprehensive, enterprise-wide Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategic Roadmap. The selected consultant will provide strategic advisory services to establish governance structures, draft policy frameworks, assess organizational readiness, identify high-value use cases, and create a phased implementation strategy for AI adoption across County government. The scope of the engagement will include multiple constitutional functions including the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Tax Collector, Supervisor of Elections, Property Appraiser, Human Resources, Human Rights and Business Technology Services (IT). The County seeks to ensure that AI technologies are deployed responsibly, securely, and transparently, while improving service delivery, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. The resulting roadmap shall serve as a guiding document for a three (3) to five (5) year planning horizon.
