What the agency published

The County of Volusia is requesting bids from qualified vendors to accept and process whole waste tires received at Tomoka Farms Road Landfill (TFRL) , located at 1990 Tomoka Farms Road, Port Orange, Florida 32128 and the West Volusia Transfer Station (WVTS), located at 3151 E New York Avenue, DeLand, Florida 32724. The Contractor is required to recycle waste tires off-site following provisions of Florida Administrative Code (FAC) 62-701. Under FAC 62-701, tire recycling means “any process by which waste tires or residuals are reused or returned to use in the form of products or raw materials.”
