What the agency published
This project consists of constructing a six (6) foot wide sidewalk on the north side of SW 6th Place between SW 70th Terrace and SW 67th Terrace in Gainesville, FL. This project will include the reconstruction of eight (8) driveways within the proposed sidewalk project area that have specific specifications as shown on the provided Bid Set Plans. The proposed sidewalk project will include tie-ins to existing intersections and sidewalks that will require the construction of ADA ramps with detectable warnings in accordance with FDOT requirements. This will also include extending curb and gutter systems from SW 6th Place to SW 67th Terrace. All designs and construction will be in accordance with FDOT requirements and Alachua County Technical and Non-Technical Specifications as provided in this bid packet.
