What the agency published

The Alachua County Facilities Management Department is responsible for maintaining the safety, reliability, and operational performance of building systems across County-owned facilities. These systems are critical to supporting daily operations, life safety functions, public services, and regulatory compliance. Timely maintenance, upgrades, and repairs are essential to ensure uninterrupted service and long-term asset preservation. To support these objectives, the County is seeking qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to provide annual Central Plant Mechanical Equipment Preventive Maintenance Services throughout County-owned facilities. Under the resulting contract, the Contractor(s) will furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform the services described in the Scope of Services. This solicitation is issued as an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for annual services. The resulting contract will provide ongoing services for a defined term, with work performed on an as-needed basis in accordance with the contract documents. The resulting contract will be administered in accordance with the pricing and delivery structure identified in this solicitation and will support the County’s commitment to safety, quality workmanship, cost control, and operational continuity.
